Kids Who Hate Church

Does your child hate going to church? How long have you been insisting that they go? Do you believe that insisting on their presence stregnthens their belief and/ or relationship with God?

 

When TheInquiringEye was but a grasshopper, mother insisted upon church attendance. For a time it crreated a new and refreshing bond with god. But then the violence of the nins (especially when offering envelopes were missing on Monday), and peculiar behavior attributed to priests revealed their god to be but the man-made image we all know. The InquiringEye turned away from organized religion and never looked back.

Though there are many roads to god, TheInquiringEye feels that the longest road of all goes through organized religion. Particularly offensive are the ceremonies (eg. Catholic masses).
