The purpose of this site is to report on the feasablity and technical issues regarding the ideas we discussed. It is not meant as an actual interface for seniors, or for the general public. Interfaces are discussed in the access portion of this document.

Menu items feature both links and areas of discussion pertinent to the menu item. Text has been cut/pasted and every effort has been made to provide updated links and offer acknowledgement. Where greater clarity is needed, please send an email request and I will look through my original documents (which hve been carefully referenced).

Occssionally there will be  redundnt entry. The purpose of this is to include tht information when designing a unit of our program, re: teaching seniors.

Occassionlly, the complexity of solutions presented may seem irrelivent to our goals. (Artificial Neural Networks, etc.). I have included these becuse they are actually 'catch phrases which describe currently available technology, and make searching and researching much easier.

Areas which require user input submit and store information into a remote SQL database. Often the page has to be reloaded to add entries or review. There is code for handling these errors, but I dont know it. I can learn it, but then I'm getting a bit off focus, amn't I?

My current priority is  reserching items in the menu and designing a user interface taking that information into account. Then I will (with your input and suggestions), design a presentation which we can test on my neighbor.

'Aunt Vinnie' is our Sim Senior. (Our Virtual Old Person)

Finally, this is an evolving research effort. As new iformation is garnered, it will be added under the appropriate menu item. (therefor, there is no 'finally'.
